Does Pterodactyl work out-of-the-box?
Yes. We hand you a docker-compose template with Pterodactyl Panel + Wings pre-installed. Deploy in 10 minutes on the VPS. If you come from another panel (Pelican, Crafty, AMP) those are also supported; free technical help by email to migrate your config.
How many players does each plan handle?
It depends on the game and mods. As a reference: Minecraft Paper vanilla = 50 players comfortable on Pulsar Pro, 100+ on Plus. CS2 = 1 server up to 24 players on any plan. Modded Rust = 100 players on Pulsar Plus, 150+ on Ultra. FiveM = 32 players on Plus, 64+ on Ultra. If unsure, email us your game and target player count and we'll guide you.
Is the DDoS protection real or just light layer-7?
Real. Layer 3/4 mitigation at the network level, Tbps capacity, enabled by default. Works against carpet bombs, UDP floods, SYN floods and amplification attacks — the classics used to drop game servers from any cheap stresser panel. The same layer protecting crypto exchanges and eSports tournament servers.
What if rivals try to drop me with a saturating attack?
Malicious traffic is absorbed by the carrier before reaching your VPS. Your server keeps running, your players stay connected. If the attack is massively large and sustained we can open an escalation ticket with upstream at no cost — but most commercial stress attacks fall against the standard filter without you even noticing.
