// Why cheap does not mean bad

Truly cheap is the renewal price.

The classic cheap-hosting trick: an aggressive first-year promo, full price on month 13 and a lock-in so you cannot escape. Here the price you see is the price you pay — this month and the next.

Same price at signup and renewal

No teaser promo, no lock-in, no surprises on invoice 13. If one month we are not useful to you, you leave — that is exactly the pressure we want on ourselves.

NVMe, dedicated IPv4 and DDoS: standard

What others sell as add-ons comes included even on the €5.99 plan: enterprise NVMe storage, dedicated IPv4, IPv6 and carrier-grade DDoS mitigation with Tbps of capacity.

Human support, fast

Average response time: 38 minutes. Real people reading your ticket, not a bot going in circles. On the cheap plan too — there is no second-class support for €6 customers.

// Which plan to pick

Three sizes of cheap, depending on what you run.

For a website, a bot or a VPN, Pulsar Lite is plenty. For production n8n or several Docker apps, Start. And if you want headroom to grow without migrating, Pro.

// Cheap VPS FAQ

What you would ask before paying €6.

The reasonable suspicions about any cheap VPS, answered without marketing. Missing one? Write to info@pulsarhost.es.

Where is the catch with a VPS this cheap?
Nowhere weird: the Lite is small (1 vCPU, 2 GB) and that is what it costs. There is no first-year promo that later goes up, no lock-in, no phantom resources from overselling. If you need a bigger machine, the range scales by size — not by fine print.
Does the price go up on renewal?
No. The signup price and the renewal price are the same. If we ever change rates, it is announced and applies to new signups — your renewal brings no surprises. That is the key difference with €1-2 teaser prices that renew at full rate.
What can I run on the cheapest VPS?
A Lite (1 vCPU, 2 GB, NVMe) comfortably runs: a website with its database, a personal n8n with dozens of workflows, a Telegram/Discord bot, a WireGuard VPN, an Uptime Kuma or a small API. For Minecraft or modpacks, better start on Pro — we tell you honestly on each page.
Can I move to a bigger plan later?
Yes, you scale to the next plan without migrating providers or changing IP: open a ticket, resources are upgraded and you pay the difference from that moment. Starting cheap and growing when the project demands it is exactly the intended use case.
Is the included DDoS real or marketing?
It is layer 3/4 carrier mitigation with Tbps of capacity, on by default on every plan — the same layer that protects game servers and exchanges. Common attacks (UDP/SYN floods, stressers) are absorbed before reaching your VPS. Not a watered-down WAF, not a paid add-on.
